1. Service Description

Jemdo Studio is a companion tool for USB capture cards, providing the following features:

• Video signal preview (supporting multiple resolutions and frame rates)
• Screenshots and video recording (supporting multiple encoding formats)
• GIF creation
• Silent instant replay and AI highlight detection
• Audio passthrough and monitoring

The App is available on macOS, iPad, Android, and Windows. Features may vary by platform.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control. This license does not permit you to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Modify, translate the App, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Rent, lend, sell, sublicense, or distribute the App in any way.
• Copy the App's framework or design for use in other products.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Not use the App to record, capture, or distribute any content that infringes on others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Not use the App to record or distribute illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Take full responsibility for all content recorded and produced using the App.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its related content (including but not limited to software code, interface design, icons, trademarks, and documentation) belong to Jemdo. Content you record and create using the App belongs to you. The App uses certain open-source software components; please refer to the open-source license notices within the App for details.

5. Device Compatibility

Jemdo Studio is continuously updated. Capture-card, cable, operating-system and device differences can affect compatibility and performance; feature availability also varies by platform and version.

• Compatibility statements do not remove any remedy required by consumer law or our Refund Policy. Software refunds and hardware returns follow their respective policies and purchase channels.
• If you encounter any issues during use, please export diagnostic logs via the in-app log export feature and send them to support@jemdogame.com. We will respond promptly and continue to optimize.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to:

• That the App will operate without interruption or error.
• That the App is compatible with all capture card hardware.
• The integrity or quality of recorded files.
• The accuracy of AI highlight detection.

Since video capture involves hardware compatibility and system resources, actual performance may vary depending on your device and capture card model.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jemdo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury or mandatory consumer guarantees. You remain responsible for backups and lawful use, including:

• Loss or corruption of recorded files.
• Device performance issues.
• Compatibility issues with third-party hardware.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue features for security, legal, technical or business reasons. For a material adverse change to a paid service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and provide any cancellation, refund or other remedy required by the offer or applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Modified terms will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in Shenzhen. For users outside mainland China, local mandatory legal provisions shall prevail where applicable.

Third-Party Software Disclaimer

Jemdo Studio is an independent third-party game capture software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any game console manufacturer, gaming platform operator, or game developer. This software is not an official companion application for any game console or platform. Copyright of game content captured using this software remains with the original rights holders.

Trademark Notice

Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®, Xbox, and other names and logos mentioned in this application and related documentation are registered trademarks or trademarks of their respective owners. Jemdo does not claim any rights to these trademarks. Such references are used solely for compatibility description purposes.

Risk and Liability

Users bear full responsibility for all consequences arising from the use of this software, including but not limited to the legality of recorded content, compliance of distribution activities, and data loss. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this software. Users are advised to familiarize themselves with local laws and regulations regarding game content recording and distribution before use.

PRO Version Terms

Jemdo Studio offers PRO version premium features. The following terms apply to the licensing and use of the PRO version:

• Compatible Jemdo hardware may unlock permanent Hardware Benefits. Hardware Benefits are a defined feature set and are not the same as all current or future PRO features.
• Eligible web purchases for macOS, Windows and Android Direct are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record; iPadOS/iOS uses the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Android build uses Google Play.
• Eligible users may receive a 7-Day Free Trial. A refund may be requested through the original purchase channel within 14 calendar days after each payment. Cancellation only stops future renewal and is not a refund; signing out, uninstalling or deleting an account does not cancel. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
